Abstract |
| We have established endemic isotope anomalies for Ru in Ca-Al-rich inclusions from and in whole rock samples of the Allende carbonaceous meteorite and in iron meteorites. The effects correspond to a deficit in the s-process isotopes. The preservation of effects in iron meteorites must be related to the effective segregation of platinum group, siderophiles, through the condensation of metal grains, aggregation into planetesimals, and then planetary differentiation to form FeNi cores. |
